During my stay, I found the room to be clean and well-maintained, which was a pleasant surprise. the dining experience fell short due to slow service and limited options. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway, making it a good option for travelers. it has great potential, but a few improvements could elevate the experience further.

The staff's attentiveness was remarkable, especially when they offered to transport the bride to the wedding following a car issue. The food during the wedding event was plentiful and delicious, enhancing our overall experience.

The Dryfesdale provided an excellent atmosphere for a business stay, with a peaceful location ideal for work. My room was a Superior Double Room, and it was clean and well-furnished, providing a comfortable workspace. The staff were accommodating,...

Excellent service and spotless rooms

We had a lovely stay here! The location is fantastic, just off the M74, yet it felt peaceful. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the dinner was excellent—especially the homemade burgers. I was impressed with the level of service, as the owner called ahead to discuss dinner options before our arrival.

Couldn't recommend more for a short visit.

Upon arrival, the hotel had an eerily empty parking lot, giving the impression of being closed for some time, which caused frustration when finding out about a last-minute move to a different location. The accommodations suffer from inconsistent room quality, and a stark contrast in features among different rooms can lead to disappointment, especially for those who expected a higher standard based on the advertised rates. Little things like leftover cosmetic items from previous guests in the shower and a lack of bottled water in the room suggest a need for better attention to detail. the dining options were limited, with several items out of stock, disappointing those looking for variety after a long journey.

During my stay at the Dryfesdale, I appreciated the stunning views and the quality of the culinary offerings. The staff provided warm service, though some attentiveness was occasionally lacking.

Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Bed was two singles pushed together, quite uncomfortable.

Lovely stay but rough check-in

We had a nice stay! The surrounding area was beautiful and the room was comfy. The breakfast was really tasty, esp the Scottish option! Only negative was the check-in. The guy at the front desk wasn’t friendly and didn’t give us much info, which was frustrating. Still, overall, pretty good experience.

We had a great stay! The four-poster room was stunning, the steak was delicious, and the Scottish breakfast was very tasty. Would definitely return!

Had a fab night at this lovely spot where I enjoyed a cozy room with great views and soft linens. The garden area offered some chill time with comfy seating and beautiful landscaping, perfect for relaxation. Just a heads-up, I did wish there were more options for late-night snacks, but overall, a lovely stay! 😊
